Senior Ecologist - Berkshire

Our client is a well-established Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy who are well known for their designs and executions of environmental projects. They are currently seeking seeking a Senior Ecologist to work out of their office in the Berkshire.

The Senior Ecologist should have:

-An ecological/environmental related degree
-Ability to complete Extended Phase 1 habitat surveys
-Preferably NVC or detailed botanical survey experience
-Extensive experience of surveying and species requirements
-In-depth knowledge of the bat licensing process and implementing mitigation
-Be experienced in protected species survey and mitigation
-Hold some kind of species surveying licence and have experience of the licensing process
-Excellent report writing skills
-Understanding of design, mitigation and habitat management plans
-Experienced in undertaking EcIA and possibly HRA
-Project management skills
-Ability to train and mentor Junior Ecologists
-Member of CIEEM
-Full clean driving licence and access to your own car
