Gi Group is currently recruiting an experienced Quality Assurance Technologist for our client in Southall for minimum 3 months. Previous experience in a food production environment is ideal.
Requirement:
• Good Writing and Verbal Communication skills
• Creative thinker and problem solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with multiple individuals and manage several people
• Minimum 6 months experience in Food Quality or technical
• Team-working skills
• Problem-solving skills
• IT skills
Main Responsibilities:
• Maintaining all relevant records relating to the BRC standards
• Ensure all CCP's relating to the HACCP are maintained and monitored at all times
• Maintain QA database and filling system.
• Monitoring and evaluating incoming raw materials, production and processing procedures.
• Assist in performing inbound inspections of selected raw materials to assure specifications are achieved.
• Internal audits: GMP, traceability, HACCP, paperwork, allergens, process, organic clean down, hand swabs
Experience:
Quality Assurance: 6 months (Preferred)
Shifts: Saturday - Wednesday 09:00-17:00 ( 5 days a week)
Day Off: Thursday/Friday
Salary: GBP7.83 per hour for first 12 weeks then GBP8.55 per hour basic
GBP10.44 per hour for first 12 weeks then GBP12.83 per hour overtime
Starting salary between GBP7.83 - GBP8.55 depending on experience.
