We are currently looking for an SEN Teacher!

The school Teaching position focuses on supporting the lessons of a child or a class of children no more than 8 pupils per class.SEN Teachers are most likely to stay in one class, supporting the development of children with cognition and learning difficulties, social, emotional and mental health challenges, sensory/physical impairments, and communication and interaction challenges such as Autistic spectrum disorder.

You will be expected to work on a 1:1 basis, Class Teacher or in small group activities with specific students as well as be able to lead the class with various activities and core subjects. Other responsibilities include monitoring the behaviour and progress of small groups working on a supported curriculum and also assisting statemented students with their work in mainstream classes, under the instruction of the class teacher.

Rate of pay would range from GBP120-GBP160 per day!

Our current teaching assistants work in a variety of roles in various schools around the area. We work closely with a range of SEN schools as well as pupil referral units and alternative provisions.
