Product Sales Specialist - Immuno Molecular
Location - North UK and Scotland
Ideal Location - Edinburgh, Glasgow, NE or NW UK
Salary - GBP35,000-GBP40,000 plus 20% commission, company car
Are you looking for your first or second diagnostic sales role? Do you have prior lab experience of Molecular Microbiology or Virology?
Our client is a leading company who provide diagnostics solutions across a range of instruments, reagents and software which determine the source of disease and contamination to improve patient health. They are looking to appoint a Product Sales Specialist to cover the Northern UK and Scotland.
You will be responsible for achieving sales of the company's real-time PCR solutions for infectious diseases. You will be responsible for achieving agreed sales targets, for providing molecular sales support to the clinical sales team and for providing customer training and technical support to customers on all relevant products through demonstrations and trials.
The successful candidate for this role will be educated to Degree level in a Life Science with a high knowledge of Molecular Biology and a minimum 3 years microbiology laboratory experience. Previous sales experience to NHS laboratories is desirable but not essential. You have good core knowledge of current bacteriology and virology methods and techniques. A true team player and outgoing personality, you are highly organised with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
