Overview: We have been retained by our client to seek out a Structural Engineer to join a UK Wide Design Consultancy. Based in their Yorkshire offices the Structural Engineer will be working on a variety of Residential and Commercial Development projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer with some experience to join a superb consultancy working on exciting projects, with a view to the right individual becoming chartered under the direction of senior engineers.
General Summary:
* Liaise and lead other members of the design team
* Structural engineering assessment and inspection of new and existing properties
* Working with steel, concrete, masonry and timber
* Analysis and design using a range of software packages including Tekla Structural Designer and Fastrak Building Designer
* Ensure quality & consistency of technical output drawings & reports is maintained
* Prepare high quality technical reports including structural surveys
Qualifications / Experience:
* Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Structural Engineering / Civil Engineer
* Varied experience in all the common forms of construction and building types
* Excellent report writing, communication and numerical skills required
* Experience of structural analysis design and software essential
* Min of 2 years' experience
* Full clean driving license
* Tekla, Fastrak and TEDDS experience desirable
Structural Engineer Position Remuneration:
* Salary up to GBP30K
