This leading international financial institution is currently expanding their Cyber Risk second line of defence function. This is a new role created as they grow their function working closely with the first line cyber defence colleagues reviewing and providing the governance that the best controls are in place to mitigate risk.

This role would be an ideal progression for an experienced Cyber professional who wants to further their career and gain a more rounded understanding of risk within a global business. From board level down, the organisation is invested heavily in ensuring they have the best of defences in place to protect customers and the organisation.

This is a highly visible role that will need good stakeholder management to allow you to interact across the business to provide the independent review and challenge of the management of cyber risk and identifying gaps in capabilities. There is a strong relationship in place between the 1st and 2nd line, so in this role your input in improving the cyber security of the organisation will be welcomed and there is a real opportunity for you to make a difference to the way things are done.

To be successful in this role you need to have a solid understanding of enterprise security with experience of designing or delivering security controls. Hands- on experience in the following functions is desirable - Cyber Security, Cyber incident/threat management, risk management and root cause analysis.
