Allergy UK is looking for a Business Development Officer to support our busy Endorsements team who are responsible for managing our commercial endorsements scheme. This scheme provides some of the the income that supports our charitable activities and our work in providing services to those affected by allergy.
The Business Development Officer will be responsible for developing new business and account managing existing clients. They will also provide administrative support as required.
The successful application will have two years of relevant business development or sales experience, will have an interest in allergy and be willing and able to learn more about this diverse subject.
The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate:-
Ability to develop a broad knowledge base of the charity endorsement programs and products.
Be enthusiastic, pro-active and self motivated, able to work in an office alone and as part of a team.
Exellent effective communication and listening skills.
Well organised, thorough with attention to detail and good timemanagement skills.
Excellent IT skills. Previous experience of Microsoft Office and knowledge of using a database is required, specific training will be given
