Weekend Health Care Assistants

Care Assistants and Support workers urgently required to help in all areas of Cornwall for weekend cover - If you are looking for extra work this is ideal for you!!

These shifts include days and nights and require flexibility. We are looking to hire experienced and reliable staff for nights and day shifts! The salary ranges from £8.20- £12.00 per hour and some clients will pay a mileage allowance!

The areas we cover are St Austell, Truro, Newquay, Camborne, Redruth, St Ives and Penzance and many more!

The ideal candidate will need to have:

• One year minimum experience within Health Care
• DBS Check within the last year
• NVQ/Diploma/Care Certificate
• Manual Handling Training (can be provided)
• Safeguarding Training (can be provided)
• Driving License and own vehicle will give you further opportunities for work!

Ideally you will have knowledge of health & safety in the workplace, along with an understanding of the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and the elderly. You will be compassionate and have a genuine interest in the well-being of people. You will need to be committed to providing high quality care and have strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards our clients. Be a team player and able to work using your own initiative.
