Production Manager / CNC Operator

This is an opportunity to join a joinery company that is continually growing in its sector. As a result we now have a need for a Production Supervisor. The ideal candidate would be trained on CNC equipment, this gives them an extra level of diversity with workload.

Your role would be to organise and oversee the labour on the factory floor, this is a new role that hasn't previously been in place, so would be yours to develop and streamline.

Job description: Production Supervisor

Responsibilities of the job include:

- Planning and organising production schedules
- Assessing project and resource requirements
- Communicating daily plan to staff members
- Having oversight of the factory floor, ensuring all members are at 100% efficiency
- Determining quality control standards
- Overseeing production processes
- Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
- Liaising with procurement, design and sales staff
- Supervising the work of factory staff
- Organising relevant training sessions

Pay: GBP25,000 to GBP28,000 per annum depending on experience.
