Are you looking for a Higher Executive Officer role based in the Newcastle area? Do you have excellent IT skills and a background in data management? We are thrilled to support our public sector client in their search for a Higher Executive Office to join them in their busy, technical services team.

Contract: Temporary, expected until end of March 2019.
Location: Newcastle Business Park
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 10 - 3 (Flexi time)
Pay Rate: £14 p/h

This role is to work within an established public sector organisation based at Newcastle Business Park. This is an involved Technical and Commercial Assurance Office role concentrating on change management, commercial change and incident management. If successful, your responsibilities will include the following:

-Maintenance of contract landscape documentation
-Updating and validation of invoice tracking spreadsheet
-Upkeep of invoice approvals on shared team area
-Maintenance of change management products, managing suppliers and stakeholders
-Submitting software changes, managing requests for change, clarification of cost and logging and signing off stages of change
-Working with key external supplier teams in resolution of issues
-Communicating incidents and release updates to internal users
-Reporting to the team manager in the technology services
-Required to interact with other business areas
-Communication on shared technology and finances across other competent authorities required

The successful candidate will have knowledge, skills and experience of:

-Able to demonstrate a high level understanding of technical concepts (database, networking, software and hardware)
-Sufficient to deal intelligently with change and incident management, data and security considerations
-Understanding of procurement and financial management
-Familiarity with using spreadsheets
-Experience of engaging with project teams in Agile and Non-Agile environments

Desirable Qualifications:
-IT support related qualifications e. ITIL
-Project related qualifications, e. Prince 2, APM

This is a full time, temporary position currently expected until the end of March 2019 with scope to be extended.
