Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter - GBP12 - GBP14ph - Doncaster

Clemence Rogers are working in partnership with an Independent, Doncaster based manufacturing company in recruiting a Mechanical Fitter.

Key responsibilities of a Mechanical Fitter:

• Day to day maintenance of all plant and machinery

• Fixing mainly wood working machinery

• Routine maintenance programs

• Management and production input

• Risk assessments

• Tool accountability

• Completing department daily work record sheets

• Assisting other mechanical/operational departments when required

Mechanical Fitter Requirements:

• Previous experience within the steel / mining sector

• Have proven experience with fault finding

• Experience of working on cars would be desirable

• Be familiar with general factory maintenance practices

• You must be able to work using your own initiative

• Be able to work on your own or as part of a team

• Be able to communicate at all levels

• You must be a motivated individual

• Clean driving license

Working hours of a Mechanical Fitter:

• Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm

• You will be required to work the occasional Saturday, this will be paid as overtime
