Our client is based in Kettering and is currently recruiting for Junior Finance Assistant to join their Finance team.
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager you will further learn and soon develop skills within;
* Purchase, Sales, and general ledger Intercompany reconciliations
* Assisting with Year end
* Maintaining fixed asset register
* Standard journal entries
* Accruals & Prepayments
The successful candidate will ideally have at least 1 years' experience and some accounts experience, although not essential as full training will be provided for the right driven and dedicated person, who has a desire to work in Finance.
The right person for the role will be reliable, a self-starter, with strong communication skills and a good eye for detail.
To be considered you will require as a minimum:
- A consistently strong academic performance in Math's or Economics.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills
- Strong MS applications experience with Advanced levels of Word, Excel and Outlook.
Working knowledge of an Accounting Package would be advantageous
KEY SKILLS
You will have to be fast thinking, extremely well organised, able to make decisive decisions with the support and input from your senior team mentor. You will be required to work off your own initiative & trouble shoot.
You will be able to multi-task often with conflicting priorities, and commercial pressure. You will need to be results orientated with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit
