Sheet Metal Worker/Welder
Salary/Rate: GBP14/hour company Pension
Location: Chatteris, Cambridgeshire
Our award winning Cambridgeshire based engineering client is currently seeking a number of experienced and proactive Sheet Metal Worker Welders to join their busy but friendly team.
Our client works within a diverse range of industries and sectors, including; Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Medical, Food and Big Science to name a few.

In addition to a very generous starting rate of GBP14 per hour, there are also opportunities to earn more money and take on additional responsibilities with the companies performance related pay and progression scheme
The successful candidate will be a highly experienced Fabricator and Sheet Metal Worker that is used to working independently on technically demanding projects, taking them from drawings to completed product. Methodical and hard working, you will be highly skilled at working from CAD and Engineering drawings, fabricating to the highest standard and producing fine limit sheet metal work from blanks. You must be able to TIG & MIG weld Stainless Steel, Mild Steel & Aluminium to a high standard and be competent in the use of fabricating equipment such as; Rolling, Bending, Folding Machines, Break Press, Hand tools, Grinders, Oxy Cutter etc
Sheet Metal/Welder Must Haves:
* Exceptional fabricating skills - Sheet Metal Work, Fine Limit, Bending, Folding
* Minimum of 5 years MIG & TIG welding experience on Stainless, Mild & Aluminium
* Ability to work independently from CAD/Engineering drawings
* Self-starter able to think outside of the box and work on different projects
* Positive approach and "can do" attitude
* Team Player - Able to work along side and support other colleagues
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30am
Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm.
