Domestic Abuse Support Worker
Ashberry Recruitment are recruiting for a Domestic Abuse Support Worker to work in the Greater Manchester Area.
As Domestic Abuse Support Worker you will be responsible for the following:
* Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their recovery/treatment journey
* Working with victims of domestic abuse, adults and children.
* To work in partnership with local Agencies to achieve positive outcome
* To enable client's to develop their skills and networks they require to move on and live independently in their own accommodation.
* To assess the practical and emotional support needs of residents.
* To develop and deliver support plans with specific identified smart outcomes that are tailored to their individual needs.
* Assess benefit requirements of the client and to ensure prompt take up of housing and other benefits.
* To co-ordinate services from a variety of agencies to meet individual Clients support needs.
* Welcome new client into the service, provide information packs and settling into the accommodation.
To apply for this position you must hold a current Enhanced DBS, issued within the last 12 months or be willing to apply for one and have experience within the supported housing/charity sector
