Trainee Design Engineer

The East Midlands of the United Kingdom has a strong heritage in innovation, manufacture & engineering. This company has been established for over 35 Years supplying printing & converting equipment across the world, working closely with customers from design conception, manufacture & installation. They are constantly looking for highly motivated people to join their team of engineers & technicians to bring new skills & experience to the company.

They are currently seeking a Trainee Mechanical Design Engineer who is already working in within the engineering manufacturing industry but looking for a change in direction and new challenge.

Candidates should be apprentice trained and understand the processes involved in an evolving projects & producing components from start to finish.

Familiarity of any 3D engineering CAD design package an advantage but not essential as training will be offered with possibilities of further education & qualifications.

To be considered for this role you will need.
- A mechanical/production engineering background (3 Years)
- Will be apprentice trained or at currently at College
- Familiar with Mechanics.
- Good communication skills
- Good level of Math & English skills.
- Cad Drawing experience an advantage

The successful person will be working in a small team producing drawings 2D & 3D designs suitable for production purposes. Pay & benefits according to experience.

PAY: from £20-24K + O/T, according to experience
OTHER: Company Contributed Pension Scheme.
