CE Class 1 Driver

We are actively sourcing category C+E Class 1 Drivers for one of our contacts in the Darlington/North Yorkshire area. This is a varied role, currently to tramp Monday to Friday should drivers wish to do so. This client runs both standard curtainsider trailers and double decker trailers, moving mainly palletsed goods. This client also has Monday to Friday night work trunking inbetween their depots.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Daily vehicle checks
* Ensuring delivery and compliance paper work is completed correctly
* Communicating with the traffic office regarding collection and delivery times.
* Ensuring the load is correctly secured
* Following health and safety procedures and ensuring they are adhered to at all times
* Comply with all EU driving hours legislation
* Supplying a first class customer service at each and every customer
* Aiding with route planning when needed

To apply for this role you must process the following:

* A current C+E licence
* No more than 9 penalty points
* A valid Digi Card
* A valid CPC Card

Rates of pay starting from:

* GBP10.00 per hour PAYE/ GBP12.00. per hour LTD for the first 8 hours per day
* GBP15.00 per hour PAYE/ GBP18.00 per hour for LTD after 8 hours per shift (minus 45 minute break)
* GBP25.00 night our allowance
