Found in Ipswich, the Secondary School are seeking a confident Graduate who is happy to support in both the English and Performing Art's departments as a Teaching Assistant. With enthusiasm and energy, you will thrive in both subjects, engaging the students and supporting the class teachers.

Your role as a Teaching Assistant will allow you to gain various skills in both departments as you oversee and support the class teachers in both departments on a set timetable - allowing you to dip into both subjects you will gain all necessary class room and theatre experience to enable you to move forward with your desired career path.

Working with students across KS3-KS4, when you are not teaching on your own small teaching time table, you will take students out in small group interventions and 1:1 session's, support students who are high or low achieving in class. Working across two similar subjects you will be able to create your own style of teaching and whilst leading your own small timetable of lessons you will develop behavioural management skills on how to control a class.
