This West Midlands based company is looking to recruit a Junior or Experienced Installation Engineer to install a wide range of Audio Visual equipment in various corporate and education sites. This will typically be boardrooms, training rooms, conference rooms, classrooms, halls etc.
Job description:
Perform installation work for AV Systems within the budgeted number of hours and to the required quality levels. This includes;
- Cable running and management, fitting trunking etc.
- Installing Projectors, Interactive Screens, LCD Displays, Audio Systems and Control Systems
- Working alone or within a team and reporting to the lead Engineer
The successful candidate will be/have;
- Interest in audio and video products
- Motivated and enthusiastic
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Comfortable working at height (ladders, scaffolding etc)
- Experience of using power tools and hand tools is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, able to use initiative and professionalism
- Eye for detail
- Physically fit and able
- Have a full UK Driving Licence and willing to travel nationwide and occasionally work away from home
- Will be required to pass a DBS check
- Salary dependent on experience
