We have had an exciting opportunity arise at Suffolk Housing to work as part of our very successful Income Management Team.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure Suffolk Housing maximises its income through the effective collection of rent, service charges and other income owed to it by residents, working supportively and proactively with the aim of sustaining tenancies and leases.

The key objectives are:

• Early identification and intervention of rent, service charge and other housing-related debt to ensure debt levels are minimised and income is maximised.
• To ensure that all income generation and maximisation activities are carried out in accordance with current legislation, good practice and Suffolk Housing policies, procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues to provide excellent customer service.

Due to the nature of the position a current driving licence and use of a car is required, for which an essential car user allowance is paid.
