At Gallagher Bassett, we are dedicated to building a pipeline of future talent. Our 6 week paid summer internship programme will provide the successful candidates with industry exposure, hands on work experience and will reward you with valuable skills learnt during the placement.
Commencing in July 2019 the programme will cover 3 key areas of the business; Claims, Client Services and Risk Control.
During the internship, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of people across the business, and will be set an individual project to complete within the 6 weeks. You will have the full support of your mentor and intern manager to guide you through the programme, and ensure your time with Gallagher Bassett is a success.
Who are Gallagher Bassett?
Gallagher Bassett was established in Chicago in 1962 as a Third Party Administrator (TPA) providing claims and risk control services to self-insured clients and now has 125 branches and over 5,000 skilled professionals in the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
Gallagher Bassett UK was founded in 1991 and currently has seven locations across the UK with over 500 claims handling staff providing services to corporate, national and local government, insurer and broker clients.

Ideal Candidate:
- You will need to be studying a related degree (Law, Business, Risk Management, Customer Service, Economics, Sales and Marketing) and have expected grades of at least 2:2
