The role is for a highly skilled UI / UX Designer to join an established, friendly, fast paced digital agency with outstanding new offices (VR, table football, Xbox, chill out areas) located just outside Reading (M4 Junction 11). 

With a huge mix of clients you will be heading up the design side of the business, working closely with the development team across a range of briefs that include everything from typical modern web layouts, to more complex projects that might include User Interface design for web apps, phone apps and desktop applications.

UX / UI Designer Key Responsibilities include:

+ Work closely with Product/Project Managers and clients helping them realise their vision.
+ Create beautiful UI designs for websites and web applications using Adobe tools or Sketch.
+ Demonstrate experience and a level of expertise designing for native mobile apps.
+ Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps e.g. Invision
+ Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability).
+ Keep up to date with the latest UX and Interaction Design practices and contribute to the company’s best practise principles.
+ Understand product specifications and user psychology.
+ You will understand the difference between mobile flows vs web and be a leading voice for mobile UI design trends.
+ Confidently communicate design ideas and prototypes to clients and to developers both in-house and with remote development teams.
+ You have any eCommerce experience (Understanding of engagement and conversion)

Bonus points (not essential) 

Knowledge of HTML, CSS & JavaScript
Previously worked on a SAAS product / Web Application
Understanding of Wordpress and page builders

About you:

+ Self-starter and able to work independently but also able to work in a team environment and is collaborative in their approach.
+ Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI designer or similar role.
+ Resilient and able to work under pressure

+ Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
+ A strong portfolio of successful, clean UX and other technical projects.
+ You love a challenge, and turning them into workable solutions
