We have an excellent opportunity for Mechanical Maintenance Fitters with heavy engineering experience to join our on-site team working on an industrial site in East London.

The Role:
Working as a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter you will be carrying out mechanical preventative maintenance duties across the site, attending breakdowns, carrying out overhauls on machinery, completing remedial correctives and improving the plants availability and reliability.
Working hours: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 7.00am - 3.30pm)
Skills / Experience Required:
You should come from a mechanical maintenance background and be competent to work on the following:
* High speed centrifuge machines
* Screw conveyors
* Belt conveyors
* Pneumatic transfer systems
* Grab cranes
* Bearing (taper sleeve mounted)
* Couplings (including fluid/powder)
* Alignment
* Mechanical strainers
* Diverter drives
* Centrifugal and PD pumps
* Gearboxes
* Chain drives
* Hydraulics
Qualifications:
You must hold mechanical qualification (i.e. City & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ Level 3).
