The Role. This is a highly visible post within our successful and growing business, providing a broad range of general office assistance to keep our Headquarters functioning while also supporting our colleagues operating across the UK. Working for the Support Services Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with, and delivering, various tasks such as office administration, receptionist duties, facilities management, supplier relationships, security clearance administration, issuing preprepared overseas travel advice to our employees and ensuring the office is presented in an appropriate manner at all times during the working day. As part of a small, friendly and supportive team, you will be key to the provision of outstanding service to our internal and external customers.

- Assume responsibility for a range of external supplier relationships relative to the role, including the ordering and processing of goods and services on behalf of the Company, together with managing accounts relating to contract cleaning, stationery, catering and uniform supplies. Previous experience of similar duties is not essential but would be desirable.
The Person. Our ideal candidate will have 4+ years of progressive relevant experience and be excited to take the next step on their career ladder. As a self-starter who can hit the ground running, you will be the public face to all visitors to the office, offering a polite and professional welcome.
With the ability to manage a number of concurrent tasks and deadlines, an eye for detail, and the confidence to liaise with external providers, you will enjoy a varied, interesting and responsible role.
Part of the job will be the requirement to use your own vehicle to travel to local suppliers including cash and carry / supermarkets therefore a current driving license is essential. Reimbursement of travel costs will be provided.
Due to the nature of elements of the role, the successful applicant will be required to complete National Security Vetting to Security Check (SC) level which will require criminal record, Security Service and credit reference checks. In addition, UK residency of at least 5 years will normally be required.
