Supply Chain Manager

Our client, a global company are currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their expanding company.

You'll be supporting the global external supply chain, currently across 28 countries, with engineering resource. Ensuring that quality is not diluted as the company expands. The role will include global travel to engage with the supply chain as and when required.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a supply chain specialist to join an expanding, globally recognised company.

Within the role you will be responsible for developing and implementing a supplier quality strategy in line with our client's stringent quality standards and alongside client requirements. This will include vetting and ensuring that all resource requests are managed and scheduled to the appropriate engineering companies ensuring timely delivery of global projects. Identifying and conducting root cause analysis and closing out all supplier non-conformance.

Maintaining quality standards is incredibly important for our client. The role will also include implementation of a new onboarding system, to get the most out of current and new suppliers. You'll provide an informative induction, outlining the company's expectations to suppliers for quality and commitment onsite. This will include monitoring and identifying training gaps and ensuring training and HSE requirements are met.

Alongside this you'll continually ensure that supply chain risks and opportunities are identified, diminished and explored as required. As well as identifying cost savings and agreeing favourable rates with suppliers.

The role would suit a supply chain specialist, looking for a new challenging role.
We're ideally looking for someone from a man management and engineer resource background, with a proven track record in implementing successful strategies across multiple projects.
As the role will include travel flexibility is also key.
