Within Newstaff we are currently recruiting on behalf of a Chef de Partie for one of our well establsihed clients in the Hitchin/ stevenage area. The business we are recrutiing for are a hotel business who deal with alot of fuctions and conferences in house. Working in a busy kitchen operating on a 4 day per week rota.
The restaurant is a 2AA rosette standard which hold a very busy banqueting operation. Offering an immediate start within a fresh organisation we are looking for candidates who hold a similar background with a driven attitude.
Duties within this role include:
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
Helping the sous chef and to develop new dishes and menus
Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
