Manufacturing Futures are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join an established materials handling manufacturer based in Manchester. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be designing and project managing from cradle to grave.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be joining a friendly design team that are responsible in machinery design from concept and customisations to legacy designs.
Role & Responsibilities - Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, CAD, Mechanical Designer
-Design and Develop conceptual and detailed machinery solutions to client specifications and budgets.
-Generate product designs and CAD models, including calculations/analysis both by hand and with the assistance of computer software
-Multi managing projects for various clients ensuring deadlines are met.
-Being able to provide technical solutions for sales staff.
-Preparation of manufacturing detail drawings, assembly drawings, manuals and BOMs
What are we looking for? - Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, CAD, Mechanical Designer
-Engineering relevant degree is not essential but desired; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
-Experience in Conveyor, materials handling or other automated solutions is desired.
-Good communication skills in being confident speaking directly with clients and suppliers
-Confident in 3D CAD design, no preference on CAD package.
