An Oxford-based biotechnology company is seeking a research associate with a background in analytics to join their team focused on viral vectored vaccine research and development.
As a Research Associate, you will perform quality control assays on viral vectored vaccines, support the Senior Scientist in tech transfer of analytical techniques, assist in the development of new analytical assays, and perform analytical assays to assess the quality, yield and stability of specific candidates or process conditions.
Essential requirements for this role:
- Degree in biological discipline;
- Industrial experience with biologics in an analytical laboratory;
- Skilled in a number of assays and methodologies including PCR, ELISA, Western blot, DNA sequence interpretation and viral titres;
- Extensive interpersonal skills.
