Main Purpose
The Council is seeking an outstanding candidate for the post of Divisional Manager - Localities and Community Engagement in the Community Services Directorate. The post holder will provide the leadership and strategic direction to deliver the new relationship with residents, businesses and partner organisations resulting in resilient communities and collaborative working at a locality level.
We are looking for an outstanding individual with excellent neighbourhood and community services experience.
You will have excellent leadership qualities and will have consistently achieved at a senior level. In addition, you will have proven experience of service excellence, innovation, continuous improvement and performance delivery, together with extensive practical experience of people management.
With exemplary communication and negotiation skills, you will have a track record of success, influencing outcomes and the ability to win the confidence and trust of Members, staff, the community and our partners alike.
