Empowering Learning are working with several primary schools in the Chorlton area who are looking to appoint a HLTA to work in their school.
The role of a HLTA, usually includes preparing lesson plans aswell as delivering these to pupils if a teacher is absent or whilst they are using their PPA time. Other times you will be asked to complete the general duties of a TA.
This school is currently rated "Good" by Ofsted and has improved significantly after each inspection. The headteacher and the senior leadership team provides very strong and approachable leadership that motivates staff and pupils to do their best at all teams and there is a real team spirit running throughout the school. Respect and courtesy are of high importance throughout the school.
The care and welfare of pupils is central to the schools work, and pupils are well behaved and have positive attitudes to learning.
To be considered for the role, you must:
?? Be a qualified HLTA or Level 4 Teaching Assistant
?? Demonstrate ability to build strong relationships with pupils, peers and parents
?? Be committed to the school ethos and pupils attainment and have experience working within a UK based Primary School
Successful appointment will be dependent on obtaining an Enhanced DBS Check..
