Position:Financial Transaction Specialist
Reports to: Support Operations Team Leader
Location: Daresbury, Cheshire (UK)

Key financial services provided include:

Supply Chain Finance - a traditional buyer-centric solution providing 'Accounts Payables Financing' or reverse factoring;

Accounts Receivable Finance (AR) - a solution monetizing accounts receivable and mitigating risk; and
- Contract Monetisation - monetising a future flow of payment obligations generated from licences, leases, off-take contracts, and royalty agreements.
With extensive growth plans and increased workloads, they are now expanding the Operations department and recruiting a variety of ambitious, driven individuals to help them grow further.
Main Job Function:
Working as part of the growing Operations team, you will be responsible for the flawless processing of trade finance transactions: this will involve ensuring that correct procedures are followed, relevant documentation prepared and correctly executed/checked, in an accurate and timely manner.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the business with the creation, execution and monitoring of high value trade finance transactions.

Develop and maintain internal management systems such as client records and deal tracking.

Assist with and advise on client account set up in checking documents and setting up bespoke systems.

Account monitoring and reconciliation of high value inbound payments.

Manage internal and partner communications relating specific clients/transactions via email and telephone.
- Recommend and implement process improvements designed to improve operating efficiency and enhance controls.
Person Requirements:
Essential:
-
You must have several years solid experience in the financial services or investment industry within a technical, processing role.

Strong skills in accuracy and attention to detail.

Able to work in a process-driven environment, but equally comfortable in using initiative when dealing with more ambiguous, complex queries.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience in using bespoke systems.

Track record of productivity and process improvement.

Ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization.
Preferred:
- Comfortable working in a highly dynamic, flat and entrepreneurial environment.
- Degree educated (or equivalent), ideally in a relevant discipline such as Business Studies, Economics, Accounting & Finance, etc.
