Our client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of glass and glazing systems in three business areas: Architectural, Automotive and Technical Glass.

Their mission is to be the global leader in innovative high-performance glass and glazing solutions, working safely and ethically.

They are now looking to recruit a Refractory Services Administrator to join them to control and co-ordinate the administration of the Refractory Services team; facilitating the efficient running of the department and ensuring that the welfare of the team is maintained in support of the global business.

Reviewing technical documentation and ensuring it is grammatically correct and in line with latest department templates (in word / excel / PowerPoint) before external issue, you will maintain and update technical and administrative data and carry out effective and comprehensive document control including electronic and hard materials.   Championing GDPR and ensuring that data is managed/stored in line with legal requirements, you must maintain and develop processes of communication within the team, manage all travel bookings and organise work visas/other required process in relation to taxation and overseas travel.

You must also manage and control the team’s time and attendance, ensure that annual leave balances and lieu time are monitored and accurately recorded and place orders via the Ecat and SAP systems.

Due to the global and sometimes remote nature of the work carried out by the Refractory Services team, the jobholder must be flexible and recognise the need to use a variety of communication methods to reach everyone in the team. On occasion will be expected to attend internal/external meetings in relation to travel/visa/tax requirements to ensure understanding and compliance.  Any AutoCAD and Microsoft Project experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Working Hours - 22.5 hours per week (either Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; 7.5 hours per day, or Monday to Friday; 4.5 hours per day)
