Selective Recruitment are working with a variety of clients in the South Oxfordshire area who are seeking Temporary HR Assistants. You will be supporting the HR department to deliver generalist HR Services. Responsible for supporting all operational HR aspects of the employment life cycle, including recruitment, induction, performance management, absence and exit.
Job Title: Temporary HR Assistant
Salary: GBP10.00 - GBP15.00 per hour plus holiday pay
Hours: Monday - Friday
Location: Didcot
Duration: Ongoing
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities of Temporary HR Assistant:
• Assisting with day to day operations of the HR department
• Providing administrative support and the processing of HR documentation, such as employment contracts
• Updating and maintaining employee data on the HR databases
• Dealing with employee requests in relation to any HR issues, policies and procedures
• Preparing the payroll by collating and inputting relevant data to the outsource provider
• Dealing with all aspects of recruitment from liaison with Managers, appropriate advertising of roles and conducting interviews
• Organising and conducting employee inductions in liaison with Managers to ensure the appropriate process is followed
• Managing the leaver process, conducting exit interviews, documentation and reporting
• Assisting with the administration of the employee benefit schemes
Candidate Specification of Temporary HR Assistant:
• Previous experience within an HR or recruitment role
• CPP qualified or working towards a CIPD qualification (Desirable)
• The ability to work as part of a team, support colleagues and promote excellent team spirit
• Excellent communication skills, confidential and sensitive with the ability to be objective and empathetic
• Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills
• IT Literate with demonstrable knowledge of MS Office including Outlook
