I am recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor to join my client who are an established provider of care and support services to people with learning disabilities.
This role is initially a fixed term contract for 6 months following internal progression, with an ideal start date of early January 2019.
Despite this role being full time, flexible working is available.
*A Full UK Driving License with access to a car is ESSENTIAL for this role
The Position:
Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and staff at all levels of our organisation, you'll be working closely with business units to develop effective HR practices across the region along with coaching managers in the implementation of them.
Other duties include;
Manage demanding workloads, both independently and as part of a team.
Act as the first point of contact for Managers and staff regarding employment issues.
General administration.
Support any disciplinary, grievance and absence consultations
The Person:
An understanding of TUPE and restructuring would be advantageous
You will be expected to have significant experience of handling employee relations cases and will have an ER caseload for which you are responsible

Previous experience of working in the charitable/not-for-profit sector and CIPD qualification are desirable, but not essential
