Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer- Harrogate

My Client, specialist UK based Civil Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Residential Development Projects for Housing Developers, is searching for a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their established Civil Engineering Team based in Harrogate.

Applicants are required to have a BEng/BSc and/or MEng/MSc and in a relevant discipline (e.g. Civil Engineering or Hydrology) and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Hydrological Modelling, Drainage Strategy or detailed pipeline, SuDS or sewerage design using Microdrainage or AutoCAD.

You are also required to have a keen interest in Flood Risk Modelling and Flood Estimation using FEH an ReFH.

This exciting role will offer you the opportunity to join a bespoke team of Engineers based in Harrogate to complete varied scale Residential and Commercial Development Projects for Housing Developers and Private Sector Clients.

You will also be required to complete Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Foul and Surface Water Drainage Strategy, GIS Mapping, Hydrological Assessments, Flood Estimation using ReFH and FEH, Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller, 3D Earthworks Modelling and detailed SuDS Design using Microdrainage, Infoworks and AutoCAD.

Candidates are also required to have a valid driving license to attend site meetings.
