We now have an exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the South West's leading employers as a Contracts Manager for our team in Exeter.
[b]The Role[/b]
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for ensuring delivery efficiencies and cost effective relationship management for a wide portfolio of contracts. You will be working on a variety of infrastructure and non-infrastructure schemes, from minor capital maintenance programmes to industry leading prospects. Duties include:
*Ensure all key performance metrics and management outputs are reported to enable delivery partner analysis *Develop and manage key contract performance indicators and a performance management system for continuous improvement *Ensure that contract cost information is reviewed with the Commercial Manager *Develop expertise on the NEC suite of contracts as a key member of the Strategic Client's 'centre of excellence' in contract management *Ensure that contract risk registers are appropriate for the work procured and assigned correctly to the contracted parties
[b]The Ideal Contracts Manager:[/b]
*Highly developed analytical skilled underpinned by a Civil Engineering or Commercial Management Degree are essential *Demonstrable track record of adding significant value *Extensive knowledge and experience of construction contracts and estimating *High level of interpersonal skills to enable effective working at all levels. *Strong commercial awareness
