Undertake, generally as part of a team, the maintenance and construction of roads, drainage etc, winter maintenance and all related activities to a reliably high standard, safely.
Key duties and responsibilities:
•Carry out all aspects of Road Maintenance
•Carry out HGV driving duties for Winter Maintenance
•Driving and daily maintenance of HGV vehicles, plant etc
•Be available to assist in out of normal hours working and participate in weekend on call rotas during winter months
•The erection and removal of appropriate signs and barriers
•The application, compaction and removal of soils, rocks, coated and other materials
•Work on highways furniture and equipment (e.g. erection, fixing and/or dismantling)
