Electronics Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company specialising in the development of technical solutions based around 3D scanning, 3D printing and 3D visualisation, including Virtual and Augmented Reality. They are now expanding their development team and would like to recruit a talented and enthusiastic electronics engineer to join them and help create innovative products for markets such as healthcare, robotics and manufacturing.

You'll need strong technical skills, in particular:

- a strong degree in Electronic Engineering
- good knowledge of digital circuit design and PCB layout
- firmware development experience using C/C++
- working knowledge of embedded interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART and USB
- basic understanding of other engineering fields including Mechanical Engineering and Software Engineering, and the ability to collaborate with engineers in these fields

Other skills that will strengthen your application include experience with:

- stepper motors and their drive systems
- high speed PCB design techniques

You'll be playing a key role in their small team, developing new products as well as being involved in cutting-edge research projects. Their ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with the ambition to become a pivotal part of the company's success.

They are based in Chester, in the North West of the UK, commutable from both Liverpool and Manchester.
