Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in the Malton area. They are currently looking for a HR Administrator to join their busy Human Resources team.

Duration: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: GBP17,000

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday with excellent benefits and car parking available.

Responsibilities:

• Organise and maintain personnel records
• Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
• Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
• Revise company policies
• Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
• Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
• Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
• Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
• Participate in HR projects

Our client is looking for someone who has previous administration experience from within a HR team. Someone who is fully computer literate with Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel as well as having excellent communication skills both verbally and written, with the attention to detail to match.

We are looking for an individual with a pro-active and positive approach who is flexible, reliable and accountable. You should be able to work as part of a small team and having a "can do" attitude is vital, you must be able to work confidently without constant or direct supervision. You must also be able to work alongside other departments within the business.

You should be adaptable and calm under pressure, strong and resilient, trust worthy and confidential.

You must have a passion for HR and must be committed to this profession.
