Salary: GBP30-GBP35k (dependent on experience)
Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
Duration: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week/Free parking / main bus route/pension/20 plus stats holidays

THE CLIENT
A new vacancy has arisen for an Operations Manager to play a key role in supporting the operational assets and operator to ensure the organisation is reliable, available and efficient.

THE JOB:
The ideal candidate will be "hands on" reliable and independent, quick thinker. You will be responsible for ensuring that a company has a very clear strategy when purchasing goods/dispatch/stock and services. You will implementation and maintaining Processes and Procedures. The Operations Manager may also set policies/procedures for purchasing that consider budgets, stock requirements and skills.

Criteria

You will have:

* Excellent communication skills
* Previous stock control (SKU,s)
* CRM system experience
* Be able to work under pressure, while being self-organised is paramount
* Be a good team player with a positive attitude
* Be able to manage large amounts of data
* Eye for detail and accuracy
* Excel skills to intermediate level
* Negotiating prices, constantly, checking and ensuring the products are delivered on time
* Helping to interpret reports
* Pitching ideas to senior managers
* Stock control and budgeting
* Cost management to identify areas of potential cost reduction and analyse the impact of pricing changes for goods and services
* Reacting to any changes in customer demand and getting customer feedback
* Relationship building with suppliers, reviews and evaluating supplier performance and compliance
* Sourcing new suppliers
* Attending trade events as and when

BENEFITS & SALARY

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am- 5.00pm, 37.5 hours a week, flexibility as and when required. This role requires an immediate start and is paying between GBP30-35k dependent on experience
