The Company:



Nigel Wright Recruitment are supporting a national manufacturer and installer of specialist architectural equipment as they look to appoint a new Project Manager into their team.

Based in North Tyneside at their manufacturing site, you will also time visiting sites and overseeing the installation aspect of the life-cycle.

The business is experiencing strong growth, hence the need to add further resource to current team.

The Role:



The purpose of the job is to provide a cradle to grave approach to all projects raised by Sales Department which involve product manufactured or purchased from the two UK sites.

The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, tracking and on occasions installation of a specific short term project which has a beginning, an end and specific deliverables.

The Person:



To be successful in this role, my client is looking for candidates who can highlight most or all of the following skills and experience:

  • Good educational background (Prince 2 Practitioner or similar)
  • Proven work experience in project management
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Knowledge of AutoCad would be a preference
  • Knowledge of groundworks and ground conditions would be a preference
  • Technical overview knowledge
  • Good client facing and internal communication skills
  • Positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interests of the Company
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Project
