Interim Catering Manager, Cambridge University, 2 month contract, GBP25,000pa-GBP28,000pa - NO EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS
Are you looking for a career challenge, an opportunity to demonstrate your organisational skills?
Have you managed a corporate caf?? or perhaps a high street chain coffee shop and now what to take the reins?
The Role
You will be working alongside and motivating the current team, helping to review processes and procedures to make the Caf?? run as efficiently as possible. My client is looking for a 'hands on' manager who understands the true meaning of excellent service whilst looking at every opportunity to improve standards.
Responsibilities
Review, amend and if needed add new processes and procedures to make this department's busy Caf?? outstanding.
Work alongside the current team to maintain high standards and improve, where needed.
Advise senior management of any changes you believe are needed within the Caf?? to improve the efficiency and output.
Experience and Skills required
This role would suit an experienced Caf??/Restaurant Manager from a corporate coffee shop or chain restaurant background. Ideally with new opening experience.
Fantastic level of customer service
Personal Characteristics
An enthusiastic team player with a self motivated and confident approach
Have a great attention to detail
Be able to plan ahead in terms of stock and activities
Work well under pressure
Enjoy contributing to the excellent reputation of the department
Salary and Benefits
My client is offering the successful Interim Catering Manager a salary between GBP25,000-GBP28,000pa, depending on experience. This will be based on a 2 month contract.
36.5hr working week, Monday to Friday, NO EVENINGS
