We're hiring for a Solderer/ Electrical Assembler to join a world leader in the manufacturer of electronics based in Manchester.
Duties as a Solderer & Electrical Assembler will include:
* Assembling and testing products to documented standards
* Assisting with the NPI process
* Adhering to your individual responsibilities for Health and Safety procedures and maintaining housekeeping standards
* Assembling wiring looms & cables, electro mechanical sub-assemblies and finished products
* Ensuring the integrity and quantity of the materials used in the process meet the required standards
Skills required:
* Manual dexterity, soldering, crimp and use of general hand assembly tools
* The ability to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings, method sheets or samples
* Experience using process materials such as resins and glues
* Experience using computerised stock control systems and peripheral equipment desirable
Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm Friday 8am till 1:30pm
This is a temporary ongoing contract with permanent possibilities for the right person.
