Rate of pay GBP8.98 per hour
37.5 hours week. Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4pm
This Crediton based company is currently recruiting a Production Operative to work as part of a team that manufactures a wide range of products to strict production procedures.
Duties include:
- Weighing and mixing feed materials
- Operating process control system
- Label packaging using labelling system
- Packing bags and buckets through semi-automated or manually controlled plants
- Carry out quality control checks
- Stack pallets of both bags and buckets
- Maintain good housekeeping of the plant
- Stock check counting
The work is physical requiring you to regularly lift and move 25kg materials and products throughout the working day.
The ideal candidate qualities:
- Willing to work flexibly within a small team
- Attention to detail
- Numerate
- Basic computer literacy
- Manufacturing experience an advantage, however, not essential.
