Senior Business & Advice Standard Technical Consultant

This is a brand new opportunity to join Intrinsic, you'll use your expert knowledge to help us develop robust business standards and controls to meet regulatory demands and support strategic objectives.

You'll draw on your vast experience within financial planning, and the FCA handbook to analyse rules and materials, and use this to contribute to the development of proportionate yet robust business standards and controls.
Taking the lead on analysis and interpretation of regulatory rules and standards, you'll be focused on the design and delivery of Intrinsic business standards and controls.

You'll also provide regulatory advice in relation to business initiatives and project, ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations.

Using your knowledge of our regulators you'll understand and anticipate key regulatory changes, and be ready to embed these into our business standards and controls.

You'll be technical and analytical with significant experience of delivering a standards and control environment into a distribution model, particularly large scale ones.
You'll need to be a Chartered Financial Planner or Fellow, with the ability to develop proportionate outcomes, this is critical to the effectiveness and success of our model.

Your expert knowledge and understanding of financial planning standard, relevant regulations and conduct risk management principles will allow you to analyse both our current business standards and controls and our future plans to ensure our ongoing compliance. You'll also have the opportunity to apply these principles to initiatives and projects across the business.
