5 Month Fixed Term Contract – February to June 2019

The focus of this role is to teach a combination of GCSE English Language and English Functional Skills. You will prepare students for June exams, mark home work and mock exams, monitor students progress and where appropriate, curriculum development.

So, if you hold a Degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject and have excellent teaching skills in GCSE English and/or Functional Skills English, then we want to hear from you!

Hardworking and flexible, you will have the ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners to include monitoring their progress and have energy, enthusiasm and passion for the subject and education. You will have high personal standards and expectations, have an awareness of academic quality standards and be able to use new technologies to enhance teaching and learning. We’d also like you to hold a teaching qualification or be willing to achieve one in line with current regulations.
