Who are we:

Bruntwood is changing the way that people work, by creating workplaces that foster a sense of community, purpose and connection for customers and their surroundings. We curate vibrant spaces that will enable our customers to thrive and grow.

The business is rapidly evolving and we are now looking for a qualified payroll professional with a proven track record in reviewing, implementing and improving payroll processes to ensure that our payroll is flawlessly executed, on time, every time. We are looking for someone who is obsessed with service and keen to make sure that our colleagues have a seamless experience.

The role is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their payroll career as you will have a real opportunity to pursue your aspirations and to shape your role.

A few reasons why you might be our kind of person:

We're not looking for people who sit down and say "that'll do". We operate with an agile mindset in a fast paced environment and we are always looking to continually improve and evolve. We value speed, agility, innovation and being brilliant to work with. Our ambitious goals present a tremendous opportunity for change. We work hard to deliver, and there's a lot to do, but the ability to have an impact here is endless.

As a team, we like to do things a bit differently. We are a tribe of doers with a curiosity to break things. We're transformative and imaginative but also down to earth. We like to challenge ourselves and seek out ideas but we also get stuck in to make them a reality. That's our kind of people, and if that resonates with you, maybe we're your kind of people too.

We offer the opportunity to work, of course:

Find innovative ways to manage our end to end in-house payroll for approx 800 colleagues using CoreHR. You will thrive on making processes more efficient and scalable, working to deliver the highest level of service.

Proactively manage compliance, ensuring that risk assessment and control frameworks are in place to ensure that payroll is run effectively and efficiently.

Own all cyclical processes (pay, benchmarking, benefits) and coordinate these effectively, continuously evolving and improving.

Collaborate with HR to deliver a seamless payroll service and optimise the benefits offering for our colleagues through supporting the lifecycle management of our benefit suppliers and creating effective partnerships with reward and benefit suppliers to ensure that we're creating and realising maximum value.

You'll make sure that pay at Bruntwood is externally competitive and internally equitable by providing robust data to show any gaps and by influencing at all levels to support our culture.

You will provide analytical insight and knowledge, using data to help support thinking. You will see things from a fresh perspective and look at going beyond the obvious.

Support the wider team in driving colleague initiatives around reward and benefits. We'd love for you to bring your expertise to help strengthen our culture and differentiate and optimise our colleague experience.
