Our client based in Dartford is currently looking to recruit a committed Logistics Planner / Engineer to help develop the company's planning and logistic systems, working within the Production Planning Department of their expanding business.
The Candidate:
* Essential to have excellent planning skills translating into project execution
* Knowledge of MS office and MRP systems
* Must have thorough organisational skills and able to take initiative
* Ability to work autonomously on your own projects
* Possess a high attention to detail and the ability to produce clear concise reports
* Strategic and logical approach to all tasks
* Display strong communication skills, possessing interpersonal awareness and the ability to work as part of a team
Duties:
* To help develop and implement a variety of inhouse systems throughout the company
* Evaluate existing procedures and lead the improvement and stream lining of the processes
* Improving internal stock handling and storing solutions
* Be active in developing the company's Sales, Inventory, Operating and Planning systems
* Help maintain company's KPIs
* Working alongside other departments and team members to ensure smooth running throughout the business
* Keeping in house systems up to date by communicating with all departments
* Maintaining the company's manufacturing plan
* Adhering to ISO90001
Previous industry experience required
Degree Level or significant experience within Supply Chain Planning or Logistics is preferred
