SkyBlue are currently recruiting a Regional HR Advisor for their client to provide a comprehensive mobile HR support function to the GFSL facilities teams.
The role will be until April 2019 with a good possibility of this being extended
Purpose:
Providing an excellent field-based HR advisory service to line managers requiring advice, support, guidance and training on people management issues.
This position will be mobile covering locations in Kent and Sussex.
Key Objectives:
??? Support line managers with HR guidance and practical expertise on policy related issues
??? Provide support in disciplinaries, grievances, appeals and performance management issues ensuring notes and letters are produced
??? Provide support during any investigation process with advice and guidance on appropriate documentation reviewing Investigation Reports to ensure that they are of a professional standard. Endeavour to drive completion of investigations within the 28 day guideline
??? Support the management of long term sick cases including Occupational Health and IHR. Proactively review and action long-term sickness cases and frequent short term absences. Endeavour to ensure that managers complete Policy actions in a timely manner through weekly review of cases and escalation where required
??? Actively contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives aimed at improving people management and business performance
??? Ensure queries on Advice Mailboxes are dealt with within the SLA
??? Contribute towards the development of regular management information metrics by compiling data and statistics to indicate how HR is 'adding value' to the business
??? Provide training, education and coaching to line managers to improve their performance in HR activities
??? Provide support to organisational change and development activities
??? Provide support to DBS activities when trained
??? Provide interview support where requested
??? Undertake consultation activities through organisational restructuring and TUPE including the production of letters and data management
??? Escalate issues that may have strategic, legal or employee relations impacts to the HRBP or HR Manager
??? Support other HR Advisors through a 'One Team' ethos where required
??? Manage the performance management and talent development process driving high performance expectations???. Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to support and drive organisational performance
Essential Qualifications:
??? Strong Generalist Professional with a deep understanding of HR issues, the job holder will be at least 'part' CIPD qualified and posses some specialised knowledge/skills gained through 'on the job' experience.
??? Experience of identifying and implementing continuous improvement in HR practices
??? High level influencing and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
??? CIPD Level 5
Minimum Eligibility:
All candidates are subject to security and identity checks prior to taking up post. All external candidates are subject to 6 months probation
