ACCOUNT MANAGER
UP TO GBP35,000 PLUS BENEFITS
HOME BASED IN THE SOUTH OF ENGLAND
This home-based Account Manager position occasionally requires attendance at client meetings in London. The company provides outsourced information services (i.e. research services) to clients mainly in the legal and financial sectors and have a global database of international business researchers, with different language skills and specialities.
You may be a researcher or an account manager in a professional services company (financial, legal, insurance, recruitment or accountancy) or perhaps recruited and managed a team of librarians or researchers.
The Account Manager would be responsible for:
Managing the relationship with a key client, and understanding their needs to compile a 12 months' resourcing plan to cover their research needs
Recruitment of multi-lingual business researchers- due to time zones this requires flexibility of working hours
Completion of projects within the company
You must be a self-starter with good time and account management skills and:
Excellent communications skills coupled with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Experience of recruiting and assessing applicants
Strong administration skills and a methodical organised approach
Previous legal or business research skills would be advantageous
Project management and IT skills (Google Docs would be useful)
MSc in Management of Library and Information Services (MLIS) or M Archives or a qualification that is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) would also be good
