Are you a polite, friendly and professional individual who is looking for a full-time role as a Beauty Therapist / Spa Therapist?
We are currently looking for a spa therapist / beauty therapist for a luxurious spa within Watford, Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will be performing a range of beauty treatments within a spa including facials, massage, waxing and nails while ensuring all treatments are carried out to a consistent high standard and exceeding all retail targets. You will also ensure that the highest level of cleanliness is always maintained. In return, they offer you an attractive salary of GBP22,000 plus commission on retail as well as various other hotel benefits and great further training.
Responsibilities of a Spa Therapist:
* Performing treatments to the expected time and standard trained.
* Exhibiting excellent product knowledge to be able to sell products as well as treatments.
* Managing trollies to ensure all stock is present to perform treatments each day.
* Exhibiting excellent treatment knowledge to upsell bookings.
* Working closely with other team members to ensure continuity with treatments.
* Maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the treatment rooms.
* Liaising with guests in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
Requirements of a Spa Therapist:
* To be friendly, polite and helpful.
* Having a high level of personal presentation.
* To be patient and compassionate when dealing with clients.
* Flexible and reliable with a willingness to work weekends and evenings.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Able to work in a team.
* Service orientation and excellent organisational skills.
* Active listening and effective communication competencies.
* NVQ 3 in Beauty.
* Experience in a spa environment desired but not essential.
